On 18 January 2025, the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities opens its doors to the interested public and invites you to the Sophie Charlotte Salon. In keeping with the theme of the evening, members of Die Junge Akademie invite you to a round of ‘Metamonster-Quartett’.

Together with the visitors, the ten new members of Die Junge Akademie want to take a critical look at development narratives in the sciences. Metamonster Quartet will be played every hour on the hour! Which scientific narratives are the strongest? Which ones have the greatest influence on how we think about ourselves and the world?
